Michelle Patterson
(R.I.P. May 2, 1970 – October 4, 2023)
Michelle Patterson was the chief experience officer and founder of The Real Share, and a leading advocate for modern, holistic health and wellness. She hosted The Real Share Huddle and Podcast. For 10 years, she served as the president of the California Women’s Conference, the nation’s largest and longest-running conference for women in North America. Michelle founded the Global Women Foundation Network, a community of over a million. The author of Women Change the World, she was a sought-after media commentator for Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business News, ESPN, HuffPost, and hundreds of other TV and radio stations. In 2016, Ms. Patterson was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by President Barack Obama and the Corporation for National and Community Service for her lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through service.
In April 2019, Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer and given ninety days to live. For the next four and a half years, she demonstrated her courage, learned to take care of herself as she had always done for others, and shared her journey so others could benefit from her experiences. She was one-of-a-kind. She was an exceptional role model who showed us how to live and how to die. She lived this life to the fullest and is probably doing the same now on the other side.
